Jude Affronti grew up in San Francisco, where he explored the foods of many cultures. He began working in restaurants -- first as a dishwasher --eventually cooking in Italy & Manhattan before returning to the kitchens of his hometown. He moved to Sonoma County seeking menus with an emphasis on local, sustainable, seasonal ingredients. He currently works at Diavola in Geyserville, CA.
